
Mrs. Murphy’s Biology students compete in a photosynthesis relay where they simulate capturing sunlight and splitting water in the light dependent reaction to power the Calvin cycle and the synthesis of glucose.

Our Wheatland Science Olympiad students competed last night at Hermitage and did a fantastic job! High School brought home the 3rd place overall finish!

Today was Hats off to being Drug Free! These students celebrated by wearing hats to school today!







Tuesday was Proud to be drug free day! These students celebrated Red Ribbon Week by dressing up and wearing red!







Students were given the opportunity to try sweet potato fries at lunch today as part of a monthly taste test program that introduces students to new locally grown fruits and vegetables. The sweet potatoes were purchased from Green Gate Farm in Wheatland. This program is funded in part by a grant from the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Culinary students prepared the sweet potatoes.
