Both 7th and 8th grade history classes participated in a national election by conducting a webquest using political websites that have forecasted the winner of the Presidential election. Both classes discovered that Kamala Harris is forecast to win the Presidency. The only thing they predicted differently was which way Nevada would vote as it is currently in a neck-and-neck tie at 50/50. They looked at past polling data to determine which direction they would vote - 7th grade said Harris and 8th grade said Trump.

This week's events!

K-12 students were rewarded with ice cream for their high test scores this spring. Thank you for all the hard work students!

Two students and a one staff member were selected to pie the administration as a reward for meeting the t-shirt sales goal. Over $5000 was raised for two students and a staff member fighting cancer. Thank you for all the support.

Preschoolers were little scientist this week. We did "My Pumpkin Investigation". They each got a pumpkin, then they had to decide if their pumpkin was BIG or small, and smooth or bumpy. They weighed their pumpkin and measured the circumference of their pumpkin. They learned what circumference meant. They got to place their pumpkin in water to see if it would float like a boat or sink like a rock. Lastly they drew a picture of their pumpkin.
