A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;

A nest of robins in her hair;

5th Grade Newsletter
We received our official photo from the state championships.
Proud of you Teagan!
Teagan ran 13:38.97 at the Missouri Middle School State Championships. She placed 3rd in the small school division, was 8th in all classes and the fastest 6th grader in the state.
Joey Venancio recently re-enlisted in the Navy Reserves and will be participating in his first drill in a few short weeks. Mr. Venancio, who serves as our head chef, will going in as Culunary Specialist, 2nd Class (CS2). Our 6th grade class and their ELA teacher (Mrs. Todd, who is Joey's sister) were able to witness the swearing in ceremony.
He is also pictured with his recruiter Yeoman, 2nd Class (YN2) Knudson.
