Culinary students have been learning to prepare a healthy dinner including vegetables, whole wheat carbohydrates and lean protein.
On Wednesday, FTA had the opportunity to spend the day in Columbia. The day started at the State FTA Convention where they heard from the 2024 Missouri Teacher of the Year, Mr. Greg Kester. Then there was a quick trip to the mall for lunch before their tour at MIZZOU! A little bit of rain couldn’t dampen their spirit!! It was a very full, but fun day for these Future Teachers!!
FFA members showed their spirit today by dressing in hunter orange and camouflage. We also hosted a Teacher Appreciation Chili Lunch to recognize and thank our dedicated educators!

Several juniors and seniors visited College of the Ozarks on a tour of the campus today. We even ran into a few Wheatland alumni that we enjoyed treating to lunch!
FFA Members kicked off our FFA Week celebrations at Big Shots Golf Monday.
Polo, Khakis, and Hawaiian wear were on point!

The Daughters and Dudes Dance was Saturday night. All the girls and their dates had a wonderful evening.
💙🩶🇺🇸Wheatland held its annual Veterans Day assembly on Friday, November 8. The program featured guest speakers U.S. Navy Veterans Gary Hunt and Bill Rose, elementary and middle school student readings and special songs from the elementary student body and elementary Honors Choir. The Veteran's Day assembly will be Friday, November 8th at 1:00 in the gym. All veterans and community members are invited to attend.
