Pk-12 grade students were given a sample of Daikon Radish at lunch today as part of the Monthly Taste Test Program funded by the grant Promoting Specialty Crops in Missouri Schools. The Monthly Taste Test Program aims to introduce students to a locally grown produce item that may be unfamiliar to them. The produce was purchased from Green Gate Family Farm in Wheatland.
