6th grade reviewed for a test with a slimy game. If their team got the correct answer they reached in the bucket with a slimy surprise, looking for point values that were either positive or negative.
Seniors participated in their "Apply and Eat Pie Day" today. They spent the day eating a feast of breakfast casserole, baked potato bar, and pies galore. In the midst of all of the eating, they applied for their FAFSA, finished up ICAP's, applied for colleges, scholarships, and job shadowing. Wheatland R-2 School was one of 17 area school libraries to receive a donation of 3 books from the Matilda Polk Campbell Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution. This year the donation was centered on honoring and respecting American servicemen in honor of Veteran's Day.
